Lot 1281 Mauser 1914 .32 ACP #480501

German made striker-fired semi-automatic centerfire pistol chambered for .32 Automatic Colt Pistol, and manufactured in Oberndorf, Germany. This pistol is a derivative of the Model 1910 with approximately 1 million units produced, and was in service from 1914 until 1945. Pistol features a blued finish, 3-1/2" barrel, fixed blade front sight, dovetailed 'U' notched rear sight, color-case smooth curved trigger, serrated heel magazine release, undercut trigger guard, smooth front strap, cocking indicator, serrated slide lock lever with an annular cut lock release, and black checkered hard rubber grip with Mauser Werke trademarks. The pistol is marked with the Mauser banner on the left side of the frame, and on the magazine floorplate. The original blued finish retained is approximately 95% with spots of light pitting, scratches, and boasts a lot of its remaining bright blue finish. Metal displays some spots of rust, and no observed deformation. The grips are in fine condition with the color turning slightly plum. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the action functions well, but needs to be cleaned and oiled. Pistol includes one magazine total.
Condition is NRA Good.
